Estadio River Plate - Huge stadium in Buenos Aires, filled with Roger Waters/Pink Floyd fans. This stadium is in the middle of a neighbourhood full of houses! So entering the stadium means a 30 minute walk around the streets to get to the correct entrance. Strange location for so many houses - wonder if the houses were built first (then how was a stadium allowed?) or if the houses came after the stadium was built (then why would anyone want to live next to a loud stadium)?
But the Roger Waters show was great, it included the iconic flying pig with graffiti such as "Encierren a Bush antes de que nos mate a todos" (Lock Bush up before he kills us all). Though - this was a very large stadium, and for the people in the field, it was impossible to see the stage. There was a large VIP area in front with over US$100 tickets, but most of the crowd was way back, and with poor stage organization (should they not have raised the stage higher), it was not as good as it could have been. I expected more of a Grateful Dead environment - where you can see the stage even when standing at the end of the field, this was not as friendly.
